Gli orologi del diavolo

Marco Merani is an exceptionally skilled marine engine mechanic — widely regarded as the best in the business. The narcotraffickers know it too. High-performance inflatable boats that can outrun police patrol vessels are precisely what they need. Law enforcement approaches Marco with a proposal: collaborate with the authorities and help bring down the leaders of a powerful Spanish cartel. Reluctantly, “El Mecánico” finds himself stepping into the role of undercover operative, building and piloting boats used for drug trafficking. He becomes a trusted figure to Aurelio, the cartel’s young and brilliant boss, who grows attached to Marco as if he were a brother. It is a bond as dangerous as a serpent’s embrace. From that moment on, Merani’s life splits in two. He is forced to lie to his loved ones and to his workers, entangling himself in an ever-tightening spiral of compromise.
